Nevada Falls is a one of the most popular waterfalls in California. It stands nearly 600 feet tall and is located in the Yosemite National Park on the Merced River. Outstanding views encompass the location, which also houses a popular swimming pool at the top of the fall.
A rewarding six mile hike on Mist Trail will take you to exceptional viewing points that are sure to amaze. Nevada Falls and its neighboring Vernal Falls create a cascade for the river as it flows elegantly through the Yosemite Valley. The water falls down over a cliff and the whitewater creates a great amount of mist. Different spots on the trail give hikers a small peaceful glimpse of what the national park has to offer.
